Right of Withdrawal
As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days, without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you receive your goods. If you have ordered multiple items in one order but they are delivered separately, the period runs from the day you receive the last item. If an order is delivered in multiple batches or parts, the period runs from the day you receive the last batch or part.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us within the 14-day period. You may do so by logging into your account on our website or by emailing studio@lesclercs.com. You cannot exercise your right of withdrawal by simply refusing delivery without notifying us.
Important — cosmetic products: As our products are cosmetic in nature, the right of withdrawal does not apply once the product's seal has been broken, in accordance with Article 16(e) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU). Unopened products with an intact seal may be returned within the 14-day period.
Partial withdrawal
If you have purchased multiple items, you may return one or more of them even if they were ordered together. Please note that original shipping costs will not be refunded if you withdraw from part of your order only.
Returning your order
Once you have notified us of your intention to withdraw, you have 14 days to return the goods to us. Return shipping costs are your responsibility. You are also liable for any damage that occurs during return transit.
We recommend returning the product in its original packaging. The absence of original packaging may result in a reduction in the refund amount.
Condition of returned goods
If the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods, we may deduct an amount corresponding to that reduction. In some cases, this may mean that only the original shipping cost is refunded.
Refund
If you withdraw from your purchase, you will receive a full refund. If the goods have diminished in value, we will deduct the amount attributable to that.
We will refund all payments received from you, including original delivery costs, no later than 14 days from the date on which we receive your notification of withdrawal. We will use the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods or until you have provided proof of return shipment.
30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
In addition to your statutory right of withdrawal, we offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee on all our products — including opened and used products.
The guarantee requires that you have used the product for at least 14 days.
The guarantee applies once per product per customer.
To make a claim, please contact us at studio@lesclercs.com with your order number. The product must be returned to us. Return shipping costs are your responsibility.
The satisfaction guarantee is a voluntary commercial commitment by LES CLERCS and does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law.
Warranty & Defective Goods
Under applicable EU consumer protection legislation, you have a statutory warranty period of 24 months from the date of delivery.
If your claim is valid, you may be entitled to a replacement, a full refund, or a price reduction, depending on the circumstances.
You must notify us of any defect within a reasonable time of discovering it. Notification within two months of discovering the defect will always be considered timely.
If your warranty claim is upheld, we will reimburse your return shipping costs. Please retain proof of postage so we can process your reimbursement.
